YOGA 

Gentle Somatic Yoga 

Somatic Yoga, sometimes called 'internal yoga', is a system of slow, mindful movements which release deeply held tension and trauma from the muscles.  Students use 'deep listening' and sensory experiencing in order to re-educate their nervous systems to effectively communicate with muscles, thus relieving pain.  Somatic Yoga is very helpful for people with chronic stress and anxiety because it is profoundly relaxing.  Considered a therapeutic yoga, Somatic Yoga is safe and beneficial for  people of all ages and abilities.   

Hatha Flow 

Hatha yoga is the form of yoga most people are familiar with.  I weave into my Hatha Flow classes my life-long experience of dance and conscious movement,  plus my knowledge of Tai-Chi and Somatic Yoga, helping students discover flexibility, strength and ease, both in their bodies and in their minds.  Hatha Flow is an excellent practice for those suffering from long-term stress and fatique.
